Abby and I are planning to go to Atlanta for Christmas and visit with my mother and father. We are very excited to have a winter time trip and get out of the spokane area for a week or so. It has been about a year and a half since we have been there and we are anxious to see it again. Seth moved back to the condo downtown so we will be assured a night out on the town, I have also made contact with Justin to ensure he will be there while we visit.
Well time for class. later.
Carry On Cabby
We are a married couple who have a non-traditional life and love to put good things in our bodies. We are about 90/10 Paleo. Cole is the chef and artist. Abby is the type 1 diabetic and aspiring lawyer. Hope you enjoy our adventures as much as we do!

I just completed the second quiz in my math course and scored 95%. It was only over two sections of a chapter but right on. Yesterday I got an 85% on a four chapter quiz. Holla.
Im currently working on economics reading, got a test at the end of this week. Its a rainy day here in Spokane so I'm okay with sittin in front of the computer.

Update September 15th, 2011
Again I have been lax in keeping up with the blog but I have a few days free before my classes start and I will attempt to catch up and get to a point that I will be able to maintain.
Where to start, lets begin with our new house. As I mentioned last post we have a four bedroom house with three bathrooms. We are getting along great with our roommate and he is turning out to be just as active as we are. Most often after school or work we are outside with the dogs. We have worked everything out and we usually have dinner all together and spend our evenings relaxing, minus Ab when she is in the reading room working on school stuff.
We recently adopted another animal into the Holman pack. We got a great dane/pit mix, he currently weighs 85 pounds as of a day ago. He is huge and big baby. We named him Solomon, we figured that would be a good big dog name. He has this white coat that is spotted with brown in addition to larger brown patches. Just after we had finally acclimated our roomies dog to the cats we introduce another player into the game. While Chloe, our roomies dog, is doing fine with the cats Solomon is having a hard time resisting his prey drive. Although he is doing very well, as a matter of fact not but 10 minutes ago we had a very good experience where one of the kitties, Marcel, came in the house and walked right next to Sol. He had very good body language so hopefully we are making progress.
Next, Law School. Ab is doing great, she spends a lot of time working in the office on her reading and case briefs. I am certainly proud of how diligent she has been since the start. She has mentioned to me that Gonzaga doesn't seem harder than what she experienced for her undergrad.

WE MADE IT!!
Well do I know that it has been an extended period of time since either Ab or myself have posted so here we go. Time to catch up.
First off we had a fantastic trip on the move. We planned it to drive through some areas we wanted to see and stay in. Ill post later this evening about that trip and include some photos.
We found a house in Spokane, WA. Its really great, 4 bedrooms, 3 bath. We have a roommate who lives downstairs in the split level. We all get along great, except the cats and the new dog. They are working it out.
Abigail went through her orientation and had her first day of law school today, she is able to ride her bike to campus.
I was able to get a job at Cartridge World, the lowest stress job I have ever had, I love it, get to work with my hands and generally hang out.
Alright, roommate just got home and we are going for a bike ride while his dog pulls him on the long board through downtown and the riverfront district.

Marcel and the Move
We have been packing pretty consistently for the past few days and are now stepping over and around boxes and the place is both empty and a mess at the same time. The bathroom is done, the kitchen is about 80 percent, we only have our bare necessities for clothes in the closet. I think we're doing pretty well, even of Cole is still pretty freaked out. But hey, if this is the one thing he stresses about in life I can live with it.
This might sound a little crazy but I can tell Marcel is freaking out too. He's been hiding under the bed every time we get the packing paper out and is unusually emotional for his even tempered self. I wonder if he remembers the last move? He is not one to sit in an enclosed space for very long and he was stuck in the Element for four days with a new strange environment every night. Pretty traumatic for a kitty I would think. We're going to have sedatives this time so maybe he won't remember it so much.
Not so worried about Hermes, his "simplicity" relieves him from really noticing anything different. Also he loves the car and small, confined spaces. They really are about as opposite as you can find.
Moving forward!

Day off 7-1-11
Today was my day off at the end of the week. Ahhhh....a friday off. Spectacular. I woke up early for a moving estimate that never arrived. Henceforth I went back to bed while the wifey went to PT. I awoke later in the day to first travel to Chik-fil-a and enjoy a free meal, courtesy of one of my employees who manages a store. Next Ab and I made mixed drinks and took them floating around the pool on our floaties. A quick workout at the Crossfit gym then see my next posting for dinner.
Now time for HGTV and wine with the lady.
Gnite.
Sushi
tonight abigail and i went to sushi. indulgence. although, we did plan our arrival for the happy hour at the local Eastwind Sushi bar. We received a veritable smorgishborg for a mere pittance.
I have included a link to map if anyone is interested. And if your wondering we did not have any soy sauce.
